The Women Fly Fishers of Idaho is a non-profit organization which strives to provide a forum for women anglers of all skill levels to increase their knowledge, experience, and pleasure in the sport of fly fishing. This is achieved through mutual participation in areas including casting, fly and knot tying, fly and equipment selection, entomology, reading the water, safety, fishing etiquette, and conservation by way of meetings, clinics, seminars and organized outings.
- Ladies of WFFI

Mission: To encourage and support women in fly fishing.

Club History: The club was founded in 1996 by three women anglers who felt there was a need for a local women's fly fishing club. After spending several months designing and organizing they held their first meeting and to their surprise, 80 women showed up! From that large group formed a charter group, many of whom are active today.

How do I become a member?
In order to become a member you can come to our meeting, the third Wednesdays of every month. WFFI Membership Application to print, fill out and bring it to a meeting or mail it to the address on the bottom of the application. Another way to join is to go to the Contacts Page and submit your information and questions.

How much does it cost to become a member?
Dues are $20 a year. A good price for all of the guidance and knowledge you'll receive from all of the ladies. Most of the trips we go on are relatively inexpensive. We are also planning on monthly day trips which will be close and inexpensive!

What equipment will I need?
The main equipment you need is a fly rod, floating or sinking line, and flies. Go to our Equipment page for recommendations on equipment and places to buy.
